Do you think what my parents did was right? (Mature audiences, please)?

Have a good talk with them, especially with your mum. Don't let this die 'a natural death' because it won't. It'll cause a stain in your relationship. This incident is not meant to break this God-given parent-child bond, it is an opportunity to strengthen it.
Remember this: You can choose your friends but you can't choose your family. Friends come and go but your parents & siblings will always be on your side. You parents just didn't know how to show that they love you. You'll understand this when you have your own kids........so please forgive them.
