Am I unhealthily thin? How should I gain weight?
I just bought a scale today (Homedics 315 Digital Scale) and depending what I was wearing it said I was 92.8-95.0 lbs, around there. I am 5'7.5" according to my doctor. I am 17 years old, female.
I went to the doctor's for a checkup a couple months ago, and she didn't say I needed to gain weight (I weighed 99lbs). However, many people tell me I need to.
Just 'eating more' isn't as easy as it sounds. I don't skip any meals and try to eat healthy. How should I gain weight? What kinds of foods?
I would like to gain some muscle, though my mom says I need to gain weight before I am allowed to work out haha. :p
Plenty of fattening nuts might perhaps help.
