Help! Huge knots in my back.?
For several years, I have had these huge knots in my back. One in my right shoulder, one about 4" lower, and one about 2" lower than that. I have been to a chiropractor(4 sessions). This did not help. I also have a huge numb spot on that side of my back too. Sometimes it tingles and itches. It has never really caused me much pain. When you push on the bottom two knots, it hurts the top knot in my shoulder. They seem to be connected. If I use my Shiatsu Massager on the knots, it seems to make them larger, and it makes my spine hurt, and gives me a headache. I takes days for the swelling to go down. What do I do?
Also I forgot. My legs have been aching really bad lately too.
Stop doing massages! This could be making it worse. I have had problems with my right shoulder for years and am about to have to get surgery on it...mine's a little different then yours but I can understand. I would make an apt. with a orthopedic surgeon. This doesn't mean you have to get surgery, but they can run tests, get you some medicine, maybe some physical therapy, tell him everything, this could be serious
