I don't understand - how was PB the food of a whole generation and now everyone's allergic?
...or at least freaked out about being allergic.
I don't understand how allergies work - are they generational?! Why is everyone totally freaked out now about nuts and peanut butter?
The chemicals that are in use today have an adverse effect on our health. Just yesterday I read a report about plasticizers used in the manufacture of several house hold plastic items that may cause a boy's testicles to be affected and even make his behaviour to be effeminate. I don't know how far this is true but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. The quality of food that we take now is also poor compared to what it was a few decades ago. Bio-genetic seeds also have their role to play as do fertilisers and pesticides. The air we breathe is becoming increasingly polluted.
Allergies result when our immune system considers a particle that it comes into contact with as harmful. For example, you could be allergic to dust while others in your family are not. Your immune system is hyper active when it comes into contact with dust and creates histamines / cough / phlegm etc to try to protect you. You could correct such a situation by taking an immune modulator which will help make your immune system to function correctly. That is nature's way of correcting the problem.
