i am looking for homemade hot oil treatment for afro textured hair?
has anyone got a recipe/ ratio for homemade hot oil treatment that consists of olive oil/honey/avocado oil/ essentials oil of rosemary?
basically i have the listed ingredients but not sure of the ammount to mix together for each one?
has anyone with afro textured hair had success with the above homemade hot oil treatment for hair?
I only use olive oil as a hot oil treatment. I warm it in the microwave and massage it in my hair and scalp for about 5 minutes, rinse, and shampoo/condition like normal. This has helped improve my hair's health.
With the mix you have I would just experiment with different proportions until I find the right combination for my hair - trial and error. Plus, how much you use/mix will depend on your hair's texture and how long it is.
